This role is about making quotes for products that can be passed on to the respective customers.Quoting EngineerBluechips is looking for an individual who is going to work closely together with our Customer Service and Sales Teams. The main priority will be to make quotes for products that correspond to the customers' requirements or revise existing quotes.Responsibilities:
  • Read & understand customers' RFQ information (BOM, Gerber, drawing and another requirement)
  • Review complex quotes with superior if necessary
  • Collaborate & coordinate with related departments to get necessary information & optimize proposals for pricing such as production process flow, Jig, Fixture and cycle time
  • Use tools to calculate component pricing/stocking such as SAP/BOM Architect
  • Create Material cost/production cost calculation following customers' specifications/requirements
  • Works with customers / Sales to evaluate requirements for optimal manufacturability and material selection/utilization
  • Lead meetings and communications regarding quotation & pricing with team or customers
  • Ensure submitting quotations fully compliant with the customers' specifications and drawings and submit a deviation sheet/statements in case of non-compliance
  • Complete calculation/quotation timely
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronical Engineering or similar
  • Very good command of English, other languages are a benefit
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Electronics
