The Technical Specialist (Foundation - Workplace & Tooling) plays a key role in supporting and maintaining the organization's Microsoft 365 environment. This includes ensuring availability, performance, and security of core collaboration and productivity services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune, etc.). The role is responsible for user account and license administration, incident resolution, and coordination with global and regional IT teams to support digital workplace initiatives and ensure business continuity.Roles & Responsibilities
1. Microsoft 365 Service Management
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune, etc.
- Administer user accounts, licenses, and access controls within Microsoft 365.
- Implement and maintain M365 security policies and roadmap, such as MFA, Conditional Access, etc.2. Troubleshooting & Incident Handling
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 incident as L2 and coordinate with Microsoft Support and Microsoft partners for troubleshooting.
- Assist with email migrations, O365 upgrades, and integration projects.
- Log incidents and service requests, track progress, and follow through until resolution.
- Generate and review incident and service reports using customer tools.3. Security & Compliance
- Enforce organizational security standards and compliance requirements across M365 services.
- Monitor security alerts and coordinate with Security and Infrastructure teams on incident response.4. Collaboration & Coordination
- Coordinate with Service Desk and Digital teams on issues related to O365 services.
- Partner with regional Digital teams for onboarding/offboarding, licensing, and policy alignment.
- Act as the point of contact for Workplace service-related requests and escalations.5. Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain documentation of Workplace processes, configurations, and standards.
- Update technical knowledge base articles for service desk and end-user reference.
- Propose and support improvements in service efficiency and automation (e.g., Intune policies, reporting).Education & Training
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Microsoft 365 certifications preferredExperience
- 2-5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration with Microsoft 365.
- Hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune, etc.
- Experience in account/identity management, license administration, and troubleshooting M365 services.General and Technical Skills:
