Oversee Maintenance Operations: supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and operational standards.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: diagnose technical problems and carry out timely repairs or coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
Budget and Cost Control: manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources, spare parts, and tools.
Compliance and Safety: ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
Vendor and Contractor Management: coordinate with suppliers and contractors for maintenance services, spare parts, and equipment procurement.
Facility Management: maintain the overall condition of the physical infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building upkeep.
Recordkeeping and Reporting: maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, incidents, and repairs. Prepare regular reports for management review.
Continuous Improvement: identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes, tools, and systems to enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
What makes you a good fit
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
(Master's degree is a plus.) * Minimum 5-7 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, including HVAC, PLC, automation, and facility maintenance.
Experience in implementing and managing preventive/predictive maintenance programs and using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Proven ability to lead and motivate maintenance teams, manage performance, and develop staff.
Problem-Solving Skills * Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and decision-making skills under time pressure.
Solid understanding of safety standards, regulations, and procedures in industrial or facility environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal departments, contractors, and vendors.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage maintenance projects and budgets effectively.
Good command of English, both written and spoken (especially if working in multinational environments).
