- Develop and produce new illustrations: This is paramount. The artist uses the residency time and resources to create a body of new illustrative work
- Experiment with illustration styles and techniques: Utilizing the dedicated time to push boundaries, try new digital tools, traditional media, or mixed-media approaches
- Conceptualize and visualize ideas: Translating abstract concepts, stories, or data into clear and engaging visual narratives through illustration.
- Create specific illustrations for the our brands:
- Educational materials: Illustrations for textbooks, workbooks, or explainer graphics.
- Promotional materials: Artwork for brochures, posters, social media campaigns, website graphics, or event branding.
- Publications: Illustrations for books, magazines, newsletters, or reports.
- Environmental graphics/murals: Creating large-scale illustrative works for public spaces within our premises or our customers premises
- Storyboarding/Concept Art: For film, animation, or interactive media projects if the host is in that industry.
- Provide illustrative expertise: Offering insights and guidance on visual communication, graphic storytelling, or effective use of imagery
- Exceptional illustration skills: Proficiency in various illustration styles and media (digital, traditional, mixed media) as relevant to their practice.
- Strong portfolio: A compelling collection of previous illustration work demonstrating their talent, versatility, and unique artistic voice.
