Thai Union Group PCLPosition: Commercial Controller (FP&A)Level: Deputy Department ManagerWork location: BangkokThe Commercial Controller (FP&A) is responsible for compiling and analyzing financial data across various products to assess financial performance. This role involves comparing actual expenses against budgeted figures and preparing summary reports for management and relevant departments to support strategic decision-making.Responsibility:
Promotional Expense Oversight: Review and validate payment processes related to promotional spending (GTN), analyze expenses, and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with company policies and support commercial strategy planning.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support data analysis, including product-level profit and loss statements, group financial data (domestic and international), sales reports, and other assigned reports.
Performance Analysis: Analyze performance data for assigned departments, products, and customers. Monitor sales and profit against budget and present findings to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
Investor Relations Support: Prepare and verify data to support MD&A reports and presentations for the Investor Relations team.
Ad-hoc Assignments: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in FP&A or related financial analysis roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, cost structure, and management accounting.
Proficiency in financial statement analysis, cost and expense analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
Detail-oriented with strong coordination and communication skills.
Experience with SAP systems.
Proficient in English communication and Microsoft Office tools.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
