Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement of Japanese food items from Japan and cooperating/group companies (e.g., China, Taiwan and Vietnam etc) - Negotiate prices and manage purchase orders with suppliers - Monitor product quality and manage logistics & shipping schedules - Maintain inventory records and update product databases - Propose suitable products to local restaurants and retailers in Thailand - Conduct market research for new product development opportunities - Other assigned tasks.Job Requirement
Necessary Skill / Experience
- At least 5 year experience of food procurement as buyer. - Knowledge in international logistics / foreign trade. - Conversational middle level of English (For communication with Japanese MD) - High communication skills / analyzing and negotiations skills - Willing to expand procurement of various line up.
Preferable Skill / Experience
- Experience of handling Japanese seafood products - Network with suppliers/retail stores/restautrantes.
