Project Management: Lead mechanical engineering projects from design and equipment selection to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Design & Development: Develop, test, and implement mechanical systems as a key member of the RTO (Ready to Operate) team.
Technical Expertise: Provide guidance to the team, troubleshoot system malfunctions, and optimise production line performance.
Quality Assurance: Ensure machines and installations comply with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with RTO and other functions to meet project requirements and provide updates.
Documentation & Training: Prepare technical reports, compile equipment manuals, and train maintenance teams on critical systems.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on mechanical engineering advancements and project management best practices.
Standardisation & Maintenance: Develop project PM plans, apply maintenance reliability standards, and plan spare parts.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience managing mechanical projects and commissioning new production lines.
Strong skills in preventive maintenance planning, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and familiarity with project management tools.
Fluent in English
Knowledge of food industry standards (GMP/HACCP) and CAPEX projects is a plus.
