  • Perform installation, relocation, removal, or replacement of relevant equipment as directed by the supervisor's work arrangement and instructions. Install support systems required for new equipment or to repair existing equipment.
Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance
  • Perform regular maintenance, inspection, testing, and adjustment of all physical plant systems, equipment, and instruments to identify possible issues. Coordinate with Production Units to provide repair services for equipment and instruments.
  • Regularly monitor commonly used machinery and perform basic repairs as needed. Promptly report recurring or complex issues to the supervisor to maintain efficient operation of all equipment.
Spare part stock
  • Monitor the stock of spare parts and initial request for replenishment to ensure no interruption of operation of the equipment repairing due to stock problems.
Documentation
  • Collect, file, keep updated and maintain the records and quality documents of building and structure's maintenance and repair to comply with standard and BASF guidelines, support the safety and security requirements.
  • Ensure technical documentation such as updating Risk base maintenance documentation and coordinating to other engineering disciplines to optimize preventive maintenance plan and strategy, gather technical information and create PR in SAP
Project and Modification
  • Control all projects to meet construction safety, quality, budget and time frame. Coordinate with the purchasing department to negotiate with supplier/contractor and clarify scope of work for project. Making project proposal consists of P&ID, cost estimation, schedule, validation protocol and equipment/machine detail for approving.
  • Lead Job Safety Analysis with safety and production team. Control contractors working with EHS. Test run and commissioning.
  • Compiling equipment specification and design. Coordinate with the maintenance section to select equipment suitable for their activity. Follow up the project result after erection to ensure all project will be performed with requirements. Set up training program of all new equipment for user.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
  • At least 2 years of direct maintenance experience in manufacturing or chemical industries.
  • Understanding of chemical production or manufacturing.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
