Process Safety Management (PSM): Lead, plan, and provide support on all PSM, HSE risk management, and loss prevention initiatives. Ensure compliance with relevant international standards and continuously improve processes to prevent accidents and reduce potential risks.
Risk Assessment: Facilitate and conduct various risk assessments, including HAZOP (Hazard and Operability), LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis), and incident investigations.
Compliance and Standards: Advise on, and ensure adherence to, industry codes and regulations (e.g., OSHA, API, ASME) and internal company standards.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs on process safety to promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
Team Leadership: Maintain high morale and team spirit by advising, training, and motivating team members to perform at a high professional standard.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.
Proven experience in Process Safety Management within the energy, oil & gas, or petrochemical industry.
Familiarity with PSM elements, risk assessment methodologies, and safety regulations.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
A recognized certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, HAZOP leader) is a plus.
