Manage the prosecution of patent, petty patent and design applications and draft submissions/arguments in response to related office actions.
Conduct search and analysis of patent and petty patent documents to determine the patentability of inventions.
Draft patent descriptions relating to the technical domain that he/she is specialised in.
Provide consultancy services to clients regarding patent, petty patent and designs in Thailand, including patentability opinions, Freedom to Operate analysis and related patent advisory matters.
Provide patent infringement analysis and preliminary infringement advice before the work is sent to Litigation Counsels (should there be a dispute in Court).
Contribute articles and speak at seminars to increase awareness of IP and to educate the public.
Oversee and supervise the translators and translation work in Thailand, ensuring all is in order and work is delivered on time to the patent.
Develop and lead a capable, competent and efficient patent team in Thailand.
Meet local clients via online meetings to generate local work in Thailand.
Exercise and display good conceptual, analytical, and reasoning skills in dealing with challenges and in growing the team in Thailand.
Practice excellent work ethics and possess good interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Has experience supervising a team.
Being Patent Agent or Patent Attorney with experience in patent prosecution, drafting patent applications, and responding to office actions is advantage.
