Job PositionData Center - Senior Project ManagerJob Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, busways, ATS).
  • Prepare one-line diagrams, power load calculations, single-line schematics, equipment layouts, and bills of materials.
  • Conduct electrical fault and root-cause analysis; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage complex data center projects-greenfield builds and brownfield retrofits-from scope definition to delivery.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, civil, commissioning, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure integration of electrical systems.
  • Oversee vendor equipment reviews, factory acceptance testing, and provide support during commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, NFPA) and industry tier standards.
  • Drive standardization of electrical designs based on global best practices.
  • Implement electrical safety protocols, testing, and maintenance procedures.
  • Mentor junior electrical engineers and designers, fostering technical excellence and best practices in modeling tools (Revit/BIM, AutoCAD).
  • Liaise with utilities, vendors, and clients to gather requirements, present designs, and optimize solutions.
  • Stay current with trends and innovations in data center electrical infrastructure and energy efficiency.
  • Research and evaluate new electrical equipment, tools, and design approaches for business improvement.
  • Assist in business development activities including client visits, proposal preparation, cost estimates, and scope definition.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8-15 years in electrical design, with at least 5 years dedicated to mission-critical/data center environments.
  • Strong experience with UPS, MV/LV switchgear, ATS, transformers, generators, PDUs.
  • Proficiency in Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, and power-flow/load modeling software.
  • Deep understanding of NEC, IEC, NFPA or equivalent regional codes.
  • Demonstrated leadership in project delivery, equipment submittal review, and commissioning oversight.
  • Experience designing hyper-scale, colocation, and edge data centers.
  • Familiarity with medium-voltage systems, SCADA, BMS, power monitoring and automation.
  • Previous client-facing experience, proposal development, and technical presentations.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
