- Market & Competitive Analysis Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, competitor positioning, and pricing strategy. Monitor regulatory developments (e.g., emissions, safety standards) that may impact product planning. Prepare market insights and benchmarking reports to support strategic decisions.
- Product Lifecycle Management Develop product plans and lifecycle roadmaps for current and upcoming models. Define product positioning, key selling points, and variant strategy based on market segmentation. Propose and update pricing strategies, model mix, and equipment specification based on market conditions and feedback.
- RHQ Coordination Act as the local counterpart to RHO product planning regarding product availability, feature localization, homologation, and launch timing n Prepare product requirement documents (PRD) or business cases for new models or updates. Coordinate local feasibility studies and provide input for product development or adaptation.
- Product Introduction & Launch Preparation Support new model introduction planning in collaboration with sales, marketing, technical, and aftersales teams. Create product briefing materials and conduct internal product training sessions. Provide product messaging and content for advertising, digital, and PR teams.
- Volume Planning & Forecasting Work closely with sales planning and inventory teams to develop product volume forecasts and model mix. Monitor sales trends and adjust product mix or availability recommendations as needed. Assist in stock allocation planning to ensure market demand and sales targets are balanced.
- Dealer & Internal Communication Provide product information and updates to dealer network in a timely and consistent manner. Gather feedback from dealers and customers to propose continuous product improvements. Support internal stakeholders (sales, aftersales, finance, etc.) with product knowledge and strategic alignment.
- To lead and coordinate product planning activities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, competitor movements, ants global product directions to define product positioning, specifications, and strategy. The role acts a key interface between the RHQ and distributor to ensure that product offerings meet market demands while aligning with brand and business objectives. This includes managing product introductions, specification decisions, volume forecasting, and lifecycle planning.
