Legal Advisory & Contracts: Deliver legal advice on contracts, agreements, and regulatory matters; draft, review, and negotiate legal documents to safeguard the company's interests.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Interpret laws and regulations, identify legal and compliance risks, and provide practical solutions to reduce potential business exposure.
Policy & Framework Development: Establish, update, and enforce compliance policies, including Code of Conduct, Business Ethics, Anti-Competition, and Data Protection policies.
Monitoring & Audits: Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and business impact analyses to evaluate vulnerabilities, recommend corrective measures, and strengthen controls.
Training & Awareness: Implement compliance programs and deliver training initiatives to foster awareness and promote a culture of ethics, integrity, and accountability.
Governance & Reporting: Develop governance frameworks, prepare compliance reports for regulators and management, and ensure proper documentation of compliance issues and resolutions.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business units, subsidiaries, and leadership teams to ensure operational alignment with compliance standards and resolve non-compliance matters effectively.
Experience requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Law; additional certifications in Compliance or Governance (e.g., Certified Compliance Professional) are a plus.
7-10 years in legal, compliance, or governance roles, preferably within multinational corporations (MNCs), with proven expertise in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
Strong background in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal advisory with solid knowledge of corporate, commercial, and business laws.
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated leadership, team management, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
