Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Quantity Surveyor manages all costs relating to construction and design projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. This role is responsible for minimizing project costs, enhancing value for money, and ensuring projects are completed within budget while meeting required quality standards and specifications.Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Professional Certificate/Membership (e.g., RICS, AIQS, or local equivalent) is highly desirable
- 8-10 years relevant experience as a consultant or contractor preferred
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Good management and reporting skills
- Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills for all levels of people
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient in data collection, analysis and presentation
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Google Sheets and Docs, and the Internet
- Ability to use BIM and REVIT (sufficient for measurement and taking-off quantities)
- Adaptability and willingness to integrate new technologies, including AI, into cost management workflows
- Capabilities to use AI tools, including LLMs and Generative AI, for tasks such as data analysis, cost forecasting, risk assessment, and report generation
