Ensure compliance with relevant laws, industry standards, and internal regulations across all commercial activities.
Develop, update, and enforce compliance policies and procedures to strengthen governance.
Assess potential compliance risks, evaluate business impact, and recommend strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
Conduct internal commercial audits, monitor business operations, and identify gaps or non-compliance issues.
Prepare and maintain compliance reports and documentation to support audit trails and regulatory requirements.
Implement and oversee internal control systems to detect and prevent compliance violations.
Investigate compliance breaches or misconduct, providing recommendations and corrective actions.
Counterpart Registration (KYC)Collect and validate customer information for registration processes.Conduct preliminary screenings to assess customer credibility and risk profiles. * Establish commercial evaluation criteria and apply them to new counterpart assessments.
Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation provided by customers.
Support the due diligence process for onboarding new counterparts. * Manage account setup and approval procedures in line with company requirements.
Continuously monitor customer accounts, reporting any suspicious activities, changes in risk profiles, or potential violations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Law, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
3-5 years of professional experience in auditing, regulatory compliance, or risk management, ideally in the Petroleum & Petrochemical sector.
Strong understanding of audit frameworks, compliance processes, and risk management techniques.
