Job Summary:The Senior Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing and leading production teams in a manufacturing or production facility. This position ensures that production goals, timelines, and quality standards are met while maintaining a safe working environment. The Senior Production Supervisor will report to the Production Manager and will work closely with other departments to ensure continuous improvement in the production process.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production activities, ensuring that products are produced efficiently, on time, and meet quality standards.
Lead and supervise a team of production workers, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
Monitor production schedules, making adjustments as necessary to meet targets and deadlines.
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
Troubleshoot production issues, resolving problems related to machinery, equipment, or staffing.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards regarding product quality, safety, and environmental practices.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members for personal and professional development.
Collaborate with other departments such as quality control, maintenance, and supply chain to ensure smooth operations.
Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies and materials are available for production.
Prepare reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics such as productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Participate in the hiring, training, and onboarding of new employees within the production team.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality control, and production standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
Continuous improvement mindset and experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus.

Ability to work in a factory or production environment, which may require standing, walking, or occasional lifting.
Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed to meet production goals.
