This office has around 90 staff working across a range of professional services.Senior Transmission Line Engineer - ThailandThe Power BusinessOur Power team work throughout Australasia on high-value projects from traditional high voltage power transmission to infrastructure and industrial projects with many energy sector clients. We've honed our skills over many years providing solutions to our power generation, transmission and distribution clients across Australasia. We offer the opportunity to work on both small and large scale projects local and abroad as part of a strong established team.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to continue to grow and shape the success of our Power team in Thailand. This opportunity will allow you to realise your own potential and achieve a step-change in your career. In this role you will;
Work with clients to understand their project brief and technical requirements
Formulate design solutions for transmission projects from 22kV to 500kV
Work proactively to implement innovative solutions
About YouYou will need to be a qualified structural, civil or mechanical engineer with specific transmission line experience. You will have experience of detailed design, drawing production, report writing, and you will be able to independently carry out analysis and design. 4+ years' experience in PLS-CADD is a must.Your technical skills are based on solid fundamentals and have been proven through the delivery of robust and innovative power engineering designs. You are comfortable coaching junior engineers. You will also have a broader range of skills beyond transmission lines engineering, which will allow you to contribute to the business in a broader sense.Preferably, you will have proven capability across a range of the following areas:
Understanding of a range of engineering disciplines
Understanding regulations, policies and procedures
Project coordination, implementation and integration for complex systems
